About Debb Jennings

My name is Mrs. Debb Jennings and I am a 4th Grade teacher here at CDS. I have taught for 33 years in grades 1-4. It is with great excitement that I begin this school year and I am excited that I will get to share it with you and your children.

When I am not teaching I like to spend my time with my husband Mark and our children Mallory and Jordan. Mark and I like to travel to Houston to see Mallory who works as an engineer at NASA. Our son Jordan works for a construction dealer in Wichita.

I believe in your children and know that they are capable of great things. Childhood is an important time in everybody's life and I want to be part of making your child's life a great one. I want everyone of my students to work hard everyday and I will do the same. We are a team and by working together, we can achieve great things. I want each of my students to do well on the State Testing, but I want 4th grade to be a memory maker as well and something that they can look back on and remember more than the fact that they took a State Reading, Math and Science Test.

Parents, you are also a huge part of making this year a success and being an important part of the Jennings Team. You must be willing to help your child, communicate with me, and be open to a great year. Please be willing to have time with and for your child everyday of this school year.

I'm excited to start this brand new school year. Let's make it the best one yet for your child!!
