Grading Policy

GRADING  Areas are scored as M=Meets Standards; N= Needs Improvement. Grades in 1st- 4th grade are given in the core areas of Reading, Spelling, Math and Science. Sub-skills are scored as : M=Mastered (79-0); N=Not Mas tered (90-80); E=Exceeds (100-91).

The grading scale is: A 100 - 95     A- 94 - 90     B+ 89 - 87      B 86 – 83     B- 82 - 80

C+ 79 - 77       C 76 - 73       C- 72 - 70      D+ 69 - 67     D 66 - 63       D- 62- 60              F 59 – 0

 

Assignments are graded 24-48 hours after handing in. I enter grades into Skyward as soon as possible after that.

Students and parents can to go to Family Access through the Goddard webpage or the following link to stay current on the grades being earned in class.
