Clark Davidson

My name is Emily Pezzola, and I look forward to being your child’s 2nd grade teacher this year.  I have two kids of my own.  Hanna is seventeen years old, and Gracie is 12 years old.  My husband, Tony, runs food service at St. Joe Hospital.  This is my ninth year teaching in USD 265, but I have teaching experience in grades 3, 4, and 5 in Salina and Wichita.  I am very excited and feel fortunate to be teaching for Goddard Public Schools.

     Your student will be involved with many exciting challenges in the coming school year.  I set high expectations for my students, and I know that, with a team effort, all of those expectations will be met.  It will take dedication from your child, myself as a dedicated teacher, and you as a supportive parent.

     Your child will have homework each night.  This will require reading a book of his/her choice, practicing flash cards, or studying spelling words.  Reading at home and practicing math facts are crucial to your child's success in school.  Please take the time to remind your child to do these two things.

          If you need to speak with me at any time, you will find me in or around the classroom during school hours (8:45am to 4:01 pm), please check in at the office first.  You can call me at school or e-mail me at epezzola@goddardusd.com.  I arrive at about 7:45 each morning, and I hang around the classroom until aboutt 4:15.
