Dear Parents,

           Welcome to Goddard CDS preschool! We are going to have a fun year! My name is Stephania Stanley, and I would like to take a minute and share my educational background with you. I am a graduate of Goddard High School 1997.  I have an Associates degree from Cowley County Community College and a Bachelors degree in Elementary Education from Friends University. I have recently, May 2012, gradated with my Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Special Education.

            I have always had a love for children. I decided to become a teacher so that I could be a positive influence in their lives. The key to Preschool success is guidance, love, communication and confidence. Once a child feels secure the learning process begins. It is so important that a child feel confident and know what they can do, then that confidence and determination will lead to a successful year. I would ask for your support in helping me guide your child and together we can provide a positive learning environment.

            I have three loving children at home. I have two boys and one girl. When I am not busy at school I am at home with my family.

            We have one full-time para, Megan, who will be helping us in the classroom this year. She is a great help in the classroom.

           It is with excitement that I welcome you and your child to our class. We can all look forward to a very enjoyable and rewarding school year.
