I started my teaching career at Maize Vermillion School in Maize Kansas.  I taught there for only three years before I decided to stay at home and raise my own family of three.  This will be my twenty-seventh year of teaching for the Goddard School District.

My husband, Robert, was a Science teacher at the Goddard High School. He retired in May of 2015 after 35 years of teaching.   We have three children, Lindsay age 37 (married to Joel), Blake age 36(married to Kate), and Laura age 36 (married to Alex).

Lindsay and Joel have a boy named Luke, who turned ten in May, and twin girls, Maddie and Emma, who will turn eight in December!  Lindsay is currently working for USD 470 Early Literacy and RISE Cowley Grants Coordinator.   Her husband, Joel, is the Camp Director for Camp Horizon in Ark City.  Blake is currently teaching Chemistry and Physics for Eisenhower High School in Goddard.  Kate has put her career on hold to stay at home with their children, but will soon be continuing to work again as a dietitian.  Blake and Kate have twin boys, Elliot and Gabriel, who will turn eight in December, and Aidan who will turn six in January!!  Laura and Alex work for their own business, Gottlob Lawn and Landscape LLC and Prairie Outfitters and Excursions LLC in Winfield, Kansas.  They have a little boy, Ethan, who will turn one in August!
