Welcome Clark Davidson Elementary School Families to the 23-24 School Year!
We are excited to begin this year with you and your student. The CDS Open House is one week away, Tuesday, August 15th, and we look forward to seeing you that night.
You can begin viewing who your child’s teacher is on Skyward at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, August 14th. At the CDS Open House on August 15th, Clark Davidson School staff members will direct you where to go to access your child’s classroom.
In an effort to decrease the number of families coming at one time, we ask that you please attend the CDS Open House at different times depending on your last name (please see below). This will help to reduce the flow of traffic in the building and provide you with more time to visit with your child’s teacher.
Last Names:
- A-F 4:30 – 5:00 p.m.
- G-L 5:00 – 5:30 p.m.
- M-R 5:30 – 6:00 p.m.
- S-Z 6:00 – 6:30 p.m.
Also, as the time is limited for each session we ask that families respect the classroom teachers time during the event so they are able to meet all new students and families. Please be at CDS to attend your corresponding Open House start time and leave when your Open House time is over to make room for the next group.
Open House is a great time to bring your students backpack and supplies to the classroom. The office will also be available to receive any forms you still need to turn in for the school year (birth certificates, health records, physicals, etc.) and can also take payments for any school fees that still need to be paid. CDS Nurse Addison Misak will be available for those wishing to drop off medication that your student will need during the school day. Please ensure the proper medical forms have been filled out and accompany the medication when it is turned into the school office. Forms can be found at https://www.goddardusd.com/532873_3
