Kayla Nush
This is my first year working in Goddard, but I have worked in Early Childhood Education for 6 years. Having two children who attend CDS, I knew I wanted to be involved as much as possible and volunteered as part of PTO. My favorite thing about working with children is seeing their confidence grow when they achieve their "aha" moment! My grandfather is my hero, and I strive every day to follow the example he set for me. He would always tell me that if you put good into the world, you will see the good in the world. My favorite thing to do in my free time is to spend time with my husband and my two daughters. We love to take road trips over long weekends, explore new places around Wichita, read together, and have weekly family game nights. I love watching my daughters play soccer or fishing and kayaking in the summer!
Ashley Zoglmann
This is my first year at CDS and in Goddard schools. I have worked in education since 2005. My favorite thing about working with students is the joy and excitement they bring to each day and seeing them learn new skills. Working with language learners is always fun and allows me to learn just as much from them and their families about different cultures and languages. Growing up, I looked up to my grandparents as each of them had a strong work ethic and showed me that you always learn something new no matter your age. I love Kansas skies and sunsets and often stop to take pictures of clouds or gorgeous colors.
Kari Scheer
I have been in education for 23 years (11 in the Goddard School District) and am in my 2nd year at CDS. I have always had jobs where I was working with children (teaching swimming lessons, teaching piano, working at a daycare). Seeing students learn and grow not only educationally, but emotionally and socially is extremely rewarding. I find true joy in helping students! Growing up, I looked up to my grandpa. He was very calm, easygoing, funny, and hardworking. I loved to be around him and talk to him. You could learn a lot from his quiet wisdom! My favorite activity when I am not teaching is being with my family. We love to hike and be outdoors (when it is nice enough)!
