CDS Touch a Truck

What an unforgettable night at Clark Davidson Elementary (CDS)’s Touch-a-Truck event!

Hundreds of students and families filled the school grounds to explore, climb, and learn about the many “trucks” and community vehicles that rolled in to share their equipment and expertise. From big rigs to fire trucks, tractors to service vehicles, kids lit up with excitement at every stop.

This incredible evening wouldn’t have been possible without the hard work of the amazing CDS staff and Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) volunteers, who organized and hosted the event, and the Goddard High School (GHS) cheerleaders, who added a creative spark with face painting for students.

PTO Representative, Kayla Sinness, added, “Family engagement is at the core of who we are at CDS. Seeing our community rally around our students reminds us that we are all partners in helping them grow and thrive.”

The heart of Goddard was on full display as our community came together to create a night of learning, laughter, and connection. CDS Principal Allison Ebert shared, “When our families, staff, and community join together in events like this, it’s more than just fun, it builds confidence in our kids and strengthens our mission to educate all students for lifelong success.”

Thank you to every truck, volunteer, and family who made the CDS Touch-a-Truck event such a success. This is what our #265Family is all about!
